The CRM Smart Data Schemes is requested by Dataswyft with a community of NGOs and Training Institutes.
Request date: 1 October 2025
Expected issuance of scheme: 1 December 2025
1. Context & Problem
NGOs and Training Insitutes rely heavily on CRMs and spreadsheets to track donors, volunteers, and staff. But data is siloed within one organization’s system, preventing partners from verifying contributions. Donors and volunteers cannot prove their history outside the issuing party. Fraud and false positives undermine trust. The CRM Smart Data Scheme (SDS) addresses this by turning CRM records into portable, verifiable badges — Donor, Volunteer, and Staff — issued through the Dataswyft Wallet Suite and governed by the Dataswyft Network.
2. Delegated Authority Proofs
Before an NGO or Training Institute can issue or receive badges, its representatives must hold a Delegated Authority Proof. This ensures that Issuer and Merchant/Validator Wallet Users act under verifiable organizational authority.
Claim Process:
Wallet User applies for a Delegated Authority proof (Dataswyft Issuer or Merchant)
Data may come from a company/NGO registry, the NGO’s CRM, or a self-attested form (verified if necessary).
Proof is validated and issued, then accredited by the Scheme Authority and HCF (Scheme Registry).
