The Dataswyft Wallet is a new kind of digital wallet — one that holds data, not just payments or credentials.
It gives every person and organisation a secure way to own, manage, and use data lawfully across apps, markets, and borders.
For Individuals
Each wallet sits on a personal HAT Microserver, a private data account hosted in Dataswyft Vaults.
Here, people hold their own raw data — from universities, banks, employers, or health systems — under their legal ownership.
From this data they can create badges: reusable, privacy-preserving proofs such as “Verified Student,” “Member ID,” or “Qualified Accountant.”
Badges can be shown to prove an attribute or, with consent, share selected data directly with another wallet.
Everything is auditable, controlled by the person, and protected by Dataswyft’s legal-technical framework.
For Organisations
Organisations gain a digital identity through their authorised people.
Instead of a central corporate login, authority lives in role badges issued to staff — for example “University Registrar,” “Merchant Operator,” or “Authorised Filing Officer.”
When a badge is active, the person’s wallet becomes the organisation’s operational interface, able to issue badges, verify proofs, or exchange approved data.
When authority ends, the badge is revoked and organisational data is automatically transferred or deleted, ensuring compliance and continuity.
Why It’s Different
The Dataswyft Wallet makes digital identity human and lawful — turning data from something organisations hold about people into something people and organisations hold for themselves, and can use responsibly, together.
